The Students’ Conference of Linguistics in India (SCONLI) is an international conference organized annually by students. This conference has seen more than half decade from academic year 2006 to 2012. The aim of the Conference is to encourage students from inside and outside India to come up with their research activities and share it on a single platform.

The aim of this conference has been to organize a meet for the research students of different areas in linguistics. This conference provides a platform for the students/research scholars to present and discuss their research work amidst a national and international audience.

Department of Linguistics, Aligarh Muslim University in collaboration with the Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore, is organizing SCONLI-7, after six successful years of the conference. This two day conference would be followed by a one-day workshop in different areas of Linguistics.
