The Students’ Conference of Linguistics in India (SCONLI) is a two day international conference followed by one day workshop organized annually by the students of Linguistics studying at various universities in India and abroad. Initiated in the academic year 2006, SCONLI strives to provide a platform to research students to share their research with an international audience. SCONLI aims to promote research activities among students of Linguistics. It is a step towards building a network of future generation of linguists for better, in-depth and wide ranging work in different areas within linguistics. The year 2014-2015 is the eighth year of this most-awaited and popular event.
This year, SCONLI-09 is being hosted by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Delhi, in collaboration with the Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore. |
