SCONLI has been around for past 18 years now. The first SCONLI was organized at the then CIEFL (now EFLU) at Hyderabad followed by Delhi University in 2008 and Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2009.

In 2009, when the conference was organized at JNU, the website for it was developed by Narayan Choudhary, a student coordinator for SCONLI at that time. The website was hosted at the JNU website before the conference was organized. However, right after the completion of the conference, the SCONLI-3 website content got removed from the JNU web server.

It was painful to see that the records of SCONLI conference was getting obliterated. This led to the idea of developing a dedicated website for SCONLI. Narayan Choudhary purchased this domain and has hosted all of the content of the SCONLI website on a server run from his hostel premises at that time. Later on the content of the website has been shifted to other servers managed by Narayan Choudhary.

Since then, this domain of SCONLI.ORG has been managed by Dr. Choudhary. Different editions of the conference and their content, as prepared by the respective organizing committee, if shared with Dr. Choudhary, has been hosted here for record purposes to ensure that the work done by the young students do not get obliterated over a period of time.
